hello, and welcome to courtney
lizabeth lately! it's so nice to have you here + i hope you'll stay a
while. courtney lizabeth lately is a blog about a girl from the east
coast living in southern california who loves jesus + is navigating
life, marriage, a fertility journey, a new home, family, friendships,
style, beauty + self-confidence + finding the perfect balance. this
will be a space where i will share my life, tips, tricks, + favorites. i
want this space to be an encouragement to you, a place where we build
community over competition.

A L I T T L E A B O U T M E :
My
name is courtney + i am originally from boston, ma. i moved to san
diego in the summer of 2010 for a chance at a fresh start + a better
life - but that is a story for another day. i live here with my husband +
our beagle + we are working on extending our family, but have been
faced with some challenges that i hope to be able to share more about
here. i went to school in boston + am a proud alpha sigma tau alum.
we
bought a new home this past summer + have been working tirelessly to
make it our own + i am looking forward to sharing progress,
transformation stories + even the real life struggles of home
ownership. it's been a lot of work, but i wouldn't change it for the
world. i prayed for this house (not just any house, literally this
house) for over 2 years + god orchestrated everything perfectly + it
became ours; + as many trials as we have had, to see this house
transform into the house we dreamed of having is such a blessing.
